About

Three threads, one career

Herve works in cloud communications, where he is a specialist in virtual numbers — DID, ITFS, UIFN and mobile numbers — with regulatory and technical depth. He writes about numbering, toll-free and contact centers, and about the rules that decide who can use a number and how.

Since 2016 he has also been one of the world's most prolific Google Maps contributors: a Level 10 Local Guide with more than 300,000 photos posted and over 17.9 billion photo views. He is currently travelling the United States in his van, photographing places city by city — usually from an electric unicycle, on which he has ridden 20,482 miles.

Herve is based in Delray Beach, Florida. He is trilingual — English and French native/bilingual, Russian elementary — and holds AWS certifications in Amazon Connect Fundamentals (2025) and Amazon Connect AI Fundamentals (2026). He studied at Télécom Ecole de Management (Institut Mines-Télécom Business School), 1998–2001.
